Teesdale caterers sought for canape contest
CATERERS in Teesdale are being sought to serve tasty treats at a business awards ceremony.
Organisers of the Teesdale Business Awards have introduced The Chef’s Challenge, which aims to showcase local caterers and offers the chance to win the Teesdale Chef of TBA 2013 accolade.
Competitors are invited to create and serve 100 canapes, which will be served to guests at the event, who will then vote for their favourite.
The canapés can be sweet, savoury, or both, served on four platters, and participants will be given a budget of £50 towards the cost of ingredients.
Menus must be submitted by November 1.
The winner will be announced during the awards ceremony at the Witham Hall, in Barnard Castle, on Friday, November 15, and will receive a £200 prize.
To register, call Sarah Gent on 07876-239957 or email email@example.com.
