Popular job fair to be repeated in Richmond

JOB FAIR: Richmond Town Council and Job Centre Plus are holding a job fair in the town hall on Tuesday, October 8 between 10am and 2pm.
The fair is open to anyone who would like to meet employers and training providers offering real jobs and opportunities.
The Army, Navy and RAF will all be represented at the event.
Jobcentre staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice.
FUNDRAISING CEILIDH: The Swaledale and Arkengarthdale Archaeology Group is holding a ceilidh at 7pm on Friday, November 1 at Richmond Cricket Club.
Songs and music are by the Steel String Band and the caller for the dancing is Tony Martin.
Tickets are £10, including a pie and peas supper. A vegetarian option is available but must be pre-booked and there will be a cash bar.

CAKE SALE: Reeth Memorial Hall will host a table top and cake sale on Saturday, October 26 from 10am to 12.30pm.
Tables are available at £8, and there will be refreshments available and a tombola.

Contributions for the cake stall and tombola are welcome. Proceeds are for improvements to the hall and plans will be on display.
