Smash hit music festival’s acts go to town

A MUSIC festival took over a town centre when more than 100 acts performed at Middlesbrough Live.
Thousands of revellers were entertained by musicians, singers, rappers and comedians at various locations, including bars and an art gallery.
The event culminated in a gig at Middlesbrough Town Hall, headlined by former X Factor contestants Misha B and MK1 alongside singersongwriter Charlie Brown.
Town centre bars Mink, Princess Alice, Walkabout, The Lobby and O’Connell’s hosted as many as 20 acts each, while The Central welcomed stand-up comedians.
On Saturday night, live music was played in mima gallery of modern art, in Centre Square, inspired by the shipbuilding upbringing of artist Carl Andre.
