A MUSIC festival took over a town centre when more than 100 acts performed at Middlesbrough Live.
Thousands of revellers were entertained by musicians, singers, rappers and comedians at various locations including bars and mima art gallery.
The event culminated in a gig at Middlesbrough Town Hall headlined by former X Factor contestants Misha B and MK1 alongside singer-songwriter, Charlie Brown.
Local bars Mink, Princess Alice, Walkabout, The Lobby and O’Connell’s hosted up to 20 acts each, while The Central welcomed stand-up comedians.
Between 7pm and 10pm on Saturday night, live music was played in mima gallery of modern art in Centre Square inspired by the shipbuilding and railway upbringing of artist Carl Andre.
Other highlights will include street performers, poetry readings in Middlesbrough Reference Library and record fair held in the crypt of Middlesbrough Town Hall.
