Jewellery making classes in Richmondshire

DALTON and Gayles Village Hall will host jewellery making classes on October 8, November 19 and December 10 from 1 to 3pm. In October, the class will make button necklaces, in November beaded broaches and in December Christmas angels. No experience is necessary. QUIZ NIGHT: Sutton Village Hall Committee has raised £410 from a quiz night on September 6. The proceeds raised were split between the local Alzheimer’s Society and the Village Hall funds. Organisers would like to thank everyone who supported the event.
TEA DANCE: Colburn Village Hall has hosted a lunch for the Thursday Afternoon Tea Dancers - cooked by local councillors Angie Dale, Helen Grant and Mary Dale. New members are welcome to come to tea dancing classes in Colburn Village Hall on Thursday at 2pm to 4pm and on Saturday from 7.30pm.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Yorkshire Ambulance Service is calling for volunteers to be trained as life-saving community first responders. Training will be given to Community First Responders in basic life-support, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and oxygen therapy, to aid emergencies prior to ambulance response. ROMANIA APPEAL: New Life Baptist Church, in Northallerton, is recruiting volunteers to sort and package aid in shoe boxes for families in need in Romania.
