Clothing exchange and fashion show to be launched by jockey Ryan Mania
A CLOTHING exchange and fashion show in aid of the needy will be launched by Grand National-winning jockey Ryan Mania tomorrow (Saturday, September 28).
The first-ever Pink Crumble event will feature live music from singer-songwriter Tasha Blackmore and fashion shows with models displaying some of the clothes on offer.
Those attending are invited to exchange their pre-loved clothes for tokens which can be spent on garments at the event.
Clothes can be bought with the tokens, or with cash, with discounts available for Pink Crumble members.
Proceeds will go towards helping society’s most vulnerable people.
The event will take place at The Blackwell Grange Hotel in Darlington between 10am and 1pm.
Entrance is £6 for a day pass or £25 for a year’s membership.
Mr Mania rode Auroras Encore to victory at Aintree in April, before suffering serious injuries in a fall at Hexham Racecourse the following day.
