Dates for drop in clinic for breast cancer patients

THE next monthly drop-in for breast cancer patients will be held on Monday, October 7 from 10am to 12pm in the outpatients department at the Duchess of Kent Hospital, Catterick Garrison. Patients in the local community are welcome to drop in to see one of Northallerton Friarage Hospital’s specialist nurses in breast care who will be on hand to provide support and answer questions about breast health and the fitting of bras and prosthetics. HEALTHY HEARTS: The Richmond branch of the British Heart Foundation held a collection at the Catterick Garrison Tesco on Friday and Saturday, September 6 and 7, raising £893. The branch would like to thank Tesco and all who contributed.
CANCELLED CEILIDH: Herriot Hospice Homecare was due to hold a fundraising ceilidh at Sowerby Church Hall on Saturday, September 28, but due to poor ticket sales the event has been cancelled.
The hospice charity plans to reschedule the ceilidh to take place on St Patrick’s Day in 2014.

DOMINO DRIVE: Brompton Village Hall Committee is holding a domino drive on Saturday, September 28 at 7.30pm.
Entry is £1.50, including tea and biscuits, and there will be a raffle.
