2:10pm Thursday 26th September 2013 in News
SMALL businesses in Richmondshire are to get help with increasing their business turnover and job creation.
Richmondshire District Council has set up a £30,000 grant scheme available to businesses with up to four employees.
“We hope the fund will provide small businesses with a cash boost to help them grow,” said Councillor Russell Lord.
“The maximum grant is for £1,000 for up to 75 per cent of the total project costs for capital or revenue projects such as purchase of machinery, ICT equipment, marketing, training - it is not for general business running costs.
“The pot is not exhaustive so will be on a first come first served basis.”
Application forms will be available from Tuesday, October 1 at www.richmondshire.gov.uk/businesscommunity/fundinggrantschemes.aspx or by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org on 01748-827022.
