Gifts galore at two-day Middlesbrough town centre market

Up to 20 stalls selling homemade gifts and food from around the region are pitching up tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday in Middlesbrough town centre on Corporation Road near BhS. Traders include Burton’s Bangers, Fudge Fancies, The One Stop Hot Shop, Lots of Loveliness, Soy Serene, and the North Yorkshire Brewing Company.
TEESSIDE HOSPICE: A ‘Ladies’ winter lunch’ is being held to raise money for Teesside Hospice on Friday, November 22, at Middlesbrough Football Club’s Riverside Stadium. It will feature stalls selling Christmas gifts followed by a two-course lunch and entertainment by French singer Flossie Malavialle. WILTON THEFT: Thieves stole a car which they loaded with equipment after breaking into Wilton chemical plant in Redcar between 10pm and 11.35pm on Tuesday (September 24). Criminals took four petrol driven hedge cutters, a Briggs and Stratton generator, a 9" Makita angle grinder, a snowblower, two Ryobi battery drills, and £80 cash. All the items were placed into a blue Landrover which was also stolen from the site. The landrover had 600 litres of weedkiller inside.
