Student who created a full album in 24-hours is recognised by national charity campaign
A DRAMA student who wrote a full album of songs in 24-hours for charity has been championed by a national campaign.
Matt Hoss, 19, of Hurworth near Darlington, was recognised for his efforts by the Give More campaign which encourages people to give more support to their local communities and causes they care about.
Matt, who studies drama and classics at Kent University, raised £140 for the Hopes and Homes for Children charity by working for 24-hours non-stop on writing music and lyrics for an album of ten songs.
A Give More campaign spokesman said Matt’s accomplishment was “an amazing example of what individual effort can achieve”.
The campaign recently ran an initiative to encourage people to set themselves charity challenges and over 32,000 pledges were made by from people all across the UK.
