A HOSPICE is hosting its first ever ceilidh to raise funds to help provide end of life care to patients across North Yorkshire.
Herriot Hospice Homecare is continuing its 21st anniversary celebrations by hosting small events across their catchment area in North Yorkshire.
And on September 28 they will be holding a ceilidh at the parochial church hall in Sowerby, Thirsk, from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Tickets are £8 for adults and £5 for under 16s and include a pie and pea supper.
The hospice provides care for people in Hambleton and Richmondshire with life limiting illnesses, enabling them to stay in their own homes needs to source new ways to raise funds to continue providing its service.
“A ceilidh is a great way to combine having fun with family and friends and raising money for a good cause," said fundraiser Victoria Hodgson.
“We love finding new events to hold and new venues to host them in.”
To book tickets call 01609-777413 and ask for the fundraising team or visit herriothh.org.uk.
