Northallerton complementary therapies centre fundraising for unit

A COMPLEMENTARY therapies centre is holding a fundraising day for a hospital therapy unit dedicated to improving the wellbeing of cancer patients.
The Wellness Centre in Northallerton is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, September 21 and offering people the chance to try a range of different treatments.
The event is to raise money for the Complementary Therapy Unit for Cancer Care at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.
The centre, behind All Saints Church on Northallerton High Street, will be offering people the chance to chat with therapists. They can also find out about different forms of massage and body work such as Tui Na, shiatsu, Indian head massage and energy therapies such as Life Alignment and other treatments, including acupuncture and Alexander technique.
The event will run from 9.30am until 3pm.
