Futuristic sight loss simulator comes to Darlington
A FUTURISTIC sight loss simulator will allow people in the region to experience what it is like to have vision problems.
The Eye Pod, created by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), lets users see what life is like living with sight conditions like cataracts and glaucoma.
It is on tour throughout the country as the RNIB attempt to highlight the importance of regular eye tests with the Save Our Sight campaign.
The pod will be at the town hall in Darlington tomorrow (Tuesday September 10) and open to the public from 1.30pm until 6pm.
