FUNDRAISING SUCCESS: A football tournament organised by Brompton Village Hall Committee has raised £1,000 towards a refurbishment of the hall.
Organiser Barbara Slater said she would like to thank everyone who turned out to support the event.
The winning programme was number 56 and the prize has been claimed.
COMMUNITY FUNDING: Community groups across Richmondshire have just a few weeks left to apply for a pot of funding.
Bids to the Richmondshire Area Partnership Funding Scheme – which can give up to £500 to local projects – close on October 1.
Each of the district council’s five area partnerships – covering Central, Garrison, North Richmondshire, Lower Wensleydale and Upper Dales - has £5,000 to allocate to community projects this year.
