A NORTH-EAST company is inviting writers from all over the world to share their creativity in a competition backed by a world renowned author.
Inscribe Media’s monthly Global Short Story Competition – which has been running for five years – is backed by author and former chancellor of Durham University, Bill Bryson.
The competition invites writers to submit their work to be judged by an experienced panel including North-East author Fiona Cooper.
The winner will receive £100 and the runner-up £25. An annual prize of £250 will be awarded to the best story of the year.
There is no theme but submissions must not be longer than 2,000 words.
