The Bowes Museum to stage autumn market
3:59pm Tuesday 3rd September 2013 in News
AN annual autumn market will showcase the best in local crafts and produce.
The event takes place in the grounds of The Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle, on Sunday, September 29, between 10am and 4pm.
There will be everything from artisan fashion and food to jewellery and original art – and even something for the family dog thanks to Wellybix homemade treats.
The museum’s events organiser, Rosie Bradford, said: “Our markets are unique in that they are free to access, with hand-picked traders ensuring a fantastic shopping experience, whatever the season.
“I’m looking forward to sampling some local honey and meeting the beekeeper and the bees which made it.”
