Teenager left battered and bruised following attack in Hartlepool

A TEENAGE boy has been left cut and bruised after being attacked in Hartlepool.
The 15-year-old was punched in the face, causing bruising to his eye.
The incident took place after a verbal altercation on Shakespeare Avenue between 9.15pm and 9.30pm on Tuesday, August 27.
The suspect then kicked the door of an address which caused damage.
Any witnesses or anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact PC Hollie Smaldon of Hartlepool Police on the non-emergency 101 number or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
STREET FUN: A four day ‘street’ themed event called ’Street Revolution’, takes place in Church Square, Hartlepool, from Friday, September 13 to Monday 16 from 11am to 5pm. There will also be a host of free ‘street’-themed entertainment including live hip-hop and rap-based music, dance, theatre and skateboarding demonstrations.
ART EXHIBITION: AN exhibition by two artists is set to go on display in Middlesbrough, the town where they honed their craft. Pencil and Paper by Becki Harper and (CORR) Jam Grantham will be exhibited at the Dorman Museum, on Linthorpe Road, from Tuesday, September 3. Their work will be on display in the first floor gallery of the Dorman Museum until Friday, January 5.
