Man denies GBH on man outside Grangetown social club
A MAN accused of repeatedly punching a drinker as he stood having a cigarette outside a social club has denied a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm and will face a trial in October.
Jonathan Douglas, 24, of Cresswell Road, Middlesbrough, is alleged to have attacked David Jones outside St Mary's social club in Grangetown on May 17 this year.
Judge Tony Briggs, sitting at Teesside Crown Court, granted him conditional bail.
He also agreed that an electronically tagged curfew the defendant was subject to could be cancelled.
The trial will not be held before October 14.
