Farmers warned after thieves steal 120 sheep in Teesdale
FARMERS are being asked to be vigilant after thieves stole 120 sheep from moorland in Teesdale, County Durham.
The farmer checked his flock daily but he did not report the theft initially as he believed there could be another explanation apart from theft.
The police feel the crooks used a large vehicle to move the sheep and farmers are being warned to take note of suspicious vehicles.
Anyone who can help trace the crooks or the sheep should contact Barnard Castle Police on 101.
