Friends organise charity ball to support Herriot Hospice Homecare
5:00pm Thursday 22nd August 2013 in News
TWO friends are planning to give a local charity a cash boost – by organising a benefit ball.
Sharon Warwick and Claire Stevenson are holding the event at the Golden Lion, in Northallerton, on October 5 in aid of Herriot Hospice Homecare.
The event will run from 7pm until late and tickets, at £45, include a three-course dinner, raffle and photo booth.
Herriot Hospice Homecare provides care to terminally ill patients who wish to remain at home in the Hambleton and Richmondshire districts - an area of approximately 1,000 square miles. This year it is celebrating its 21st anniversary.
“The ball will be the perfect opportunity to get dressed up and have really good time whilst raising money for an extremely good cause,” said Sharon.
Claire added: “As a member of the district nursing team from Mayfield Surgery it was important to me that the money we raised goes to a local charity and through working with Herriot Hospice in the past they seem like the perfect choice.”
To buy tickets contact Sharon on 07955-209908 or Claire on 07837-723623
