Teddy bears enjoy picnic at Preston Hall Museum and Gardens, Stockton
HUNDREDS of children brought their teddies to a special picnic in the sun earlier today. (Sunday, August 18).
As well as picnics at Preston Park Museum at Eaglescliffe, Stockton, there was story-telling, biscuit-decorating and even a teddy bear doctor.
Museum worker Joanne Willcox said children also enjoyed ‘funky feet’ dancing, activity trails and had access to a mobile library.
“There’s been a lot going on. I know there was 270 biscuits decorated for a start, and there’s been a lot of teddies with bandages who’ve been attended to by our doctor,” she said.
