POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a thief stole an e-reader and a mobile phone from a dental practice in Darlington.
At around 4.40pm on Tuesday, July 23 an unknown person entered Lacey, Wright and Kendrew Dental Surgery at 44 Duke Street and jumped over the unattended front reception desk leading into the staff room.
The thief then took a Kindle Fire and Samsung mobile phone off a chair and made off in an unknown direction.
A Darlington police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witnesses as Duke Street, in Darlington, is a very busy street and someone will have seen the suspect.”
Anybody with any information is asked to call police on 101 and ask for PC Paula Ruck.
