A MAN who admitted making nuisance calls to the emergency services will appear at crown court. Simon Darlington, of Pierremont Crescent, Darlington, admitted making nuisance calls and being drunk and disorderly in a public place when he appeared at Darlington Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, July 25). The guilty pleas put the 40-year-old in breach of a suspended sentence imposed in November last year by Teesside Crown Court and he will return to the court for sentencing on a date to be fixed. He was granted unconditional bail.
ASSAULT CHARGES: Christopher Hood, 42, of Woodland Terrace, Darlington, appeared at Darlington Magistrates’ Court charged with three assaults and one count of dangerous driving. He entered no pleas and his case was committed to Teesside Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
