THE wonders of the world wide web will be revealed at free internet taster sessions.

Local charity Leap in Teesdale has organised the event for Friday, April 26, to coincide with Spring Online Week.

The taster sessions, each two hours, will take place at The Studio, Victoria Yard, Barnard Castle, when experienced tutors will be on hand to help.

Development worker Jill Wales said: “We know that using computers and the internet can sometimes be worrying, especially for older people, and the taster sessions should provide some help to get started.”
