NORTH YORKSHIRE NEWS IN BRIEF: Easter bin collections for Hambleton and Richmondshire

REFUSE and recycling collections across Hambleton and Richmondshire will be affected by the Easter holidays. There are no changes to collections this week, from March 25 and there will be a normal service on Good Friday. But the following week, beginning April 1, all collections will be one day late due to Easter Monday. Alternatively, collection dates can be checked on the councils’ websites: www.hambleton.gov.uk and www.richmondshire.gov.uk

SCHOOL FUNDRAISER: Mowbray School, near Bedale, will be holding a fundraising Easter event on Thursday, March 28 from 1.30pm. There will be an Easter cake raffle and Easter produce and gifts.
