Man charged with drink-driving over police van crash

A 30-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with drink-driving after a crash involving a parked police van.
North Yorkshire Police said the man was arrested following an accident at 3.35pm on Thursday (March 21) in Grey Street, Harrogate, involving a Mazda car and a marked police dog unit vehicle.
The man will also face a charge of driving with due care and attention when he appears before Harrogate Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 9.
