Choirs combine for concert

NORTHALLERTON Male Voice Choir is to play host to a visiting all-female group of singers in a joint concert.
The show at Northallerton Forum marks the second time the NMVC and Newcastle-based ladies’ choir the Gibside Singers have sung together - but a first collaboration in Northallerton.
The programme includes music ranging from Mozart to Rogers and Hammerstein, Gilbert and Sullivan to Lloyd Webber, as well as traditional choral numbers.
Special guest conductor is Vice President of the National Choir Association Doris Williams.
Tickets for the show on Saturday, March 23, are £9 or £7 for concessions and are available in advance from Greensleeves in Central Arcade, the Forum, or on the door.
