Whessoe Parish Council to hold first meeting in revamped hall

PARISH COUNCIL: The members of Whessoe Parish Council will meet on Monday, March 25, at 7pm in Whessoe Parish Hall. The meeting is open to all residents of the parish. It will be also be one of the first opportunities for residents to view the new floor laid in the Parish Hall after the parish council won an award from the Big Lottery Fund.
WARD SURGERY: The ward councillors for North Road, Anne Marie Curry, Fred Lawton and Alan Macnab, will hold a ward surgery on Wednesday, March 20, between 9am and 10.15am at Northland Methodist Church, in North Road, Darlington.
WATER OFF: Properties in the Barnes Road area of Mowden, in Darlington, were without water for two hours today (Tuesday, March 19) due to a burst water main. Northumbrian Water has apologised for any inconvenience.
