Lights off for the WWF

THE lights on Darlington’s Market Clock will be switched off for an hour on Saturday in support of the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Earth Hour. The clock will go dark at 8.30pm as part of the WWF’s global initiative to encourage people to think about the energy we use and to focus attention on protecting the planet.
