Sounds of the 16th and 17th centuries come to The Bowes Museum

MUSIC fans are to be treated to sounds of the 16th and 17th Centuries at a forthcoming concert.
Pellingman’s Saraband, featuring Jacob Heringman and Susanna Pell, will perform at the Bowes Museum on Saturday, April 27 at 7.30pm in an event organised by the Friends of The Museum.
The duo are based in the North-East will play music described as the period equivalent of modern day jazz on viol and lute.
The couple, who married in 1999, have been musical colleagues for almost 25 years, both enjoying distinguished careers; Jacob as a soloist and with many prominent period ensembles and Susanna as a freelance performer and member of the pioneering groups Fretwork and The Dufay Collective.
