Ponies pop into cafe

SMALL horses brought huge joy when they trotted into a village hall to mingle with café-goers and pre-school children.

American miniature horses Mr P and Wish spent an afternoon at Sadberge Pre-School and the village hall coffee shop in a visit organised by Laura Potter of K&L Party Ponies.

Standing at just 28 inches high, the pair were a big hit with the children and café customers who had not expected to be joined for tea by two ponies.

Ms Potter said: “Horses are often thought of as intimidating animals because of their size and you’d be surprised at how many have not seen one up close.

“A 63-year-old gentleman told me that it was the first time he had ever touched a horse.”
