TIM CRAWSHAW, from Darlington Borough Council, will give a talk entitled Restoring the River Area in the Town Centre, at St Cuthbert’s Church, on Tuesday (March 12), at 7.30pm. Entry is free to members of the Friends of St Cuthbert’s and £5 for visitors, including a glass of wine or a soft drink.
ON SONG: Hartlepool Male Voice Choir will perform at Northgate United Reformed Church, in Darlington, on Saturday (March 16), at 7.30pm. For ticket information, call 01325-464137.

It's no wonder the council can not keep within budget and dumps on the ratepayer and town centre business person at every opportunity
Just how many people are working on regenerating the Town centre? How much is it costing? Given the amount of resources directed at it why is it going downhill at a rapid rate?
