Open day for therapy centre

A complementary therapy centre in Northallerton is holding an open day to give people a chance to try out therapies and raise money for the Friarage hospital.

The Wellness Centre in the High Street, is holding the event on Saturday March 16 from 9.30am to 3pm.

Taster sessions will be on offer for a range of therapies including acupuncture, chiropractic, physiotherapy, reflexology, Alexander Technique and massages.

All proceeds raised from taster sessions will go to help support the Friarage Complementary Therapy Unit for Cancer Care.

Sranya Barkwill, Wellness Centre Manager, said: “We are very happy to help support our local charity at the Friarage which relies solely on public donations and we recognise the great support that the unit provides cancer patients and their friends and family."
