Free home checks for vulnerable people

STAY WARM: Vulnerable people in Darlington have until the end of March to sign up for a free home energy check. Efficiency experts will visit homes to provide free advice as to how to cut fuel bills, stay warm and combat damp and mould. To qualify for a free home check, residents must be over 60, have a disability or long term health condition or have a child under four living in the household. EGG HUNT An event featuring tree planting and an egg hunt will take place on Saturday March 16 from 10am to noon. Participants should meet at the Clock Tower in South Park, Darlington. The event costs £2 per family. Places are limited and can be booked in advance by calling 01325-248021 or emailing l&s@darlington.gov.uk.
