Stockton singing school sweeps the board at Darlington Music Festival

PUPILS from a singing academy in Teesside won 12 trophies at a prestigious music festival.
Sue Capes-Bunnett, who opened Singing Sue’s Vocal Academy in 2011 after overcoming a battle with breast cancer, said her pupils had also clinched numerous commendations, merits and distinctions at Darlington Music Festival last month.
The academy’s Junior Choir clinched second place in two choir classes and in the individual classes, pupils from the school won the Junior, Senior and Adult class in the Championship at the end of the Music Festival.
The Academy rehearses in the Stockton Parish church hall, on the High Street in Stockton.
