Woman, 28, killed in Darlington road accident named as Christine Harrison

POLICE have named a woman who died after the car she was travelling in left the road on the outskirts of Darlington as Christine Harrison, 28.
Four other people escaped serious injury following the accident yesterday morning.
However, Ms Harrison, a passenger in the VW Golf GT, who was from Longfield Road, Darlington, was pronounced dead at the scene.
All the passengers were also from the town.
The car collided with trees. Police believe surface water may have led to the accident.
