CREATIVE WRITING: A Northern Grit creative writing workshop hosted by writers collective Vane Women will be hosted at The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts on Yarm Road in Darlington. The event costs £5 and will take place from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday March 23. To book a place, contact 01325 244174.

QUIZ NIGHT: A quiz night with a hot supper, raffle and licensed bar has been organised by the 26th All Saints’ Scouts group. It will take place on Saturday, March 23 from 7.30pm at The Millennium Centre, All Saints’ Church in Blackwell. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children.
