Darlington man in court accused of stealing lawnmower

A MAN has appeared at court charged with the theft of a lawnmower.

James Rowland, 22, Waltham Close, Darlington, denied stealing the £250 petrol lawnmower from a driveway on February 12.

He was granted unconditional bail ahead of his trial at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on May 8.

THEFT CHARGE: Allan Youngson, 25, of Anfield Court, Darlington, denied theft when he appeared at the town’s magistrates’ court yesterday (Thursday, March 7). Mr Youngson is accused of stealing a bottle of wine costing £5.29 from a supermarket on November 30 last year. He was granted unconditional bail ahead of his trial at Darlington Magistrates’ Court on May 16.

COURT DATE: Kirk Birdsall, 25, of Gurney Street, Darlington, denied theft when he appeared at Darlington Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday, March 7). He is said to have stolen £12.76 worth of food from Wilkinsons in the town centre on February 21. He was given unconditional bail ahead of his trial on May 3.
