5:12pm Thursday 7th March 2013 in News
PERFORMING and creative arts are lined up to keep youngsters happy over the Easter holidays.
Singing, dancing, arts and crafts and acting are all in store at the latest sessions being laid on by the (CORR) hART Factory community interest company.
The two, three-day workshops take place from Monday, April 1 to Wednesday, April 3 for five- to eight-year-olds, and from Monday, April 8 to Wednesday, April 10 for nine- to 13-year-olds.
hART Factory creative director Nichola McIntosh said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain new skills, make new friends, have fun and beat the school holiday boredom.
“The themes we’ll be exploring for our performance will include Disney, High School Musical, Pixar, West End musicals and Glee.”
Sessions run from 10am to 3pm each day at Middlesbrough Baptist Church in Cambridge Road, Middlesbrough.
Participants should bring a packed lunch and wear comfortable clothing that they can dance in and that they don’t mind getting a little messy.
Places are limited and advance booking is essential – the workshops are £35 per child for the full three days.
