Funeral parlour brings happiness to Stockton youngsters

A FUNERAL parlour is celebrating Easter by donating chocolate eggs to needy local children.
Thomas Rea & Sons, which has branches across Stockton is appealing for donations to be given to local charity, A Way Out, which tries to improve the lives of vulnerable women and young people.
“There are many youngsters in the local area who may welcome a bit of extra cheer this Easter,” a spokesman said.
“As a business at the heart of the community, we want to do our bit by trying to put a smile on as many local youngsters’ faces as possible.”
Easter eggs can be handed to staff at Thomas Rea & Sons funeral homes until Monday, March 25 at 227 Durham Road, Stockton, 407-409 Thornaby Road, Thornaby, 143 High Street, Yarm, and 10 Myton Road, Ingleby Barwick.
