Top authors lined up for library's literature festival

A number of top authors are lined up for Scarborough Literature Festival next month. The event, organised by North Yorkshire County Council’s library service, will take place from Thursday, April 11 until Sunday, April 14 at locations across the North Yorkshire town. The event is backed by the Arts Council and there will be a range of workshops and events with authors such as Joanne Harris, Susanna Gregory, Mark Billington and David Hewson. There will also be creative writing workshops for children and adults, family entertainment and whisky tasting. All the Fringe events are free but some events are ticketed.
