CHURCH CONCERT: The Harrison Singers and Band present a musical evening on Friday, March 22 at 7.30pm in Zetland Park Methodist Church, Redcar. Tickets cost £5 including refreshments with proceeds going to church funds.

EASTER FAIR: An Easter Fair is taking place at St Andrews Mission, Cobden Street, Thornaby, on Saturday, March 16 from 1pm. There will be bric-a-brac, books, a tombola and a raffle. Admission is 20p.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: North Tees and Hartlepool NHS foundation Trust is looking for volunteer drivers to collect patients who do not qualify for ambulance transport but might have difficulty getting to either of its hospital sites. can apply on line at www.jobs.nhs.uk or call the trust’s recruitment team direct on 01642 624023 for further information.
