Delivery driver has vehicle broken into in broad daylight

A DELIVERY driver had his vehicle broken into in broad daylight.

The man was delivering goods to the Post Office in North Road, Darlington at about 11am on Sunday, February 17 when the thief struck.

As the driver was inside the post office, the front driver’s window of his vehicle was smashed and an iPhone 4 stolen. It is believed the incident was witnessed by a woman who then left the scene.

Darlington Police are investigating and would like to speak to the woman in question in the hope that she could provide a description of the thief.
