Domino, a terrier, missing from a house in Darlington
A DOG rescue charity has appealed for help to track down a terrier who has gone missing three days after being rehomed with a new owner.
Domino, a white male terrier, was rescued from floods in Bangkok, in Thailand, several weeks ago and was brought to the UK where he was adopted by a family living in North Road, Darlington.
Domino, who is said to be a nervous dog due to his experiences, escaped through an open front door on Sunday and is now missing.
It is believed he may have walked as far as Newton Aycliffe since his escape three days ago.
Niz Khan, from Soi Dog, which operates in Thailand, said: “He’s very nervous of people he doesn’t know, which is going to make catching him extremely difficult because he’s only been in the UK for three days.
“He’s basically gone into panic mode so we really do need to find him as soon as possible.”
Anyone who might have seen Domino or taken him in is asked to call 07949552645.
