Middlesbrough police appeal for information after woman raped

A WOMAN in her 20s was raped following a night out. She was attacked in Middlesbrough town centre and police want to speak to anyone who saw a distressed woman at a phone kiosk on the corner of Marton Road and Borough Road at about 5.15pm on Sunday, March 3. She was in conversation with two men of Asian appearance in their 20s and police want to talk to them. Anyone with information is asked to contact Middlesbrough CID on the non emergency number 101
3D SPECTACULAR: A 3D film is to be projected on the side of one of the region’s most historic buildings in a free event. It is a celebration of the £7m refurbishment of Preston Hall Museum and Park at Eaglescliffe, near Stockton, which has attracted 100,000 visitors since it re-opened last summer. The 15-minute animated film is about the Grade II-listed hall and its hidden secrets and will be shown on Wednesday, March 13 at 7pm and 7.45pm. Tickets are available from the museum.
