Accountants society books magician

Magician Paul Daniels is to perform before an audience of accountants in April, when he appears at the York Society of Chartered Accountants annual dinner. The event will be open to members of the society, their guests, clients and partners at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall in York on Friday, April 19. Money raised will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.
TRACTOR CLUB RAISES FUNDS: The North Yorkshire National Vintage Tractor and Engine Club has presented the Yorkshire Air Ambulance with £250. The money was raised from the club’s Vintage working day and ploughing match, which took place at Knayton, near Thirsk last year.
OSTEOPOROSIS SCANS: Scans for risk of osteoporosis will be available on Monday, March 25 at Thirsk Town Hall from 12pm-2pm and at Northallerton Hambleton Forum from 3pm-5pm. Also on Tuesday, March 26 at Richmond Town Hall from 9am until midday. Non-invasive scans for risk of future fracture can be carried out for £22.
