Young runners to compete in Tees Valley cross country event in Middlesbrough

CROSS COUNTRY: The 2013 Tees Valley Primary Schools’ Cross Country Championships – organised by Middlesbrough Council’s Sports Development Team – take place at Prissick Base, Middlesbrough, on Wednesday (March 6). After qualifying through local events, junior athletes from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will represent one of the seven School Sports Partnerships across the Tees Valley, including Darlington, Stockton and Middlesbrough, at the event.

SPRING LUNCH: There is still time to purchase tickets for Teesside Hospice’s Spring Ladies Lunch at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on Friday, March 22 from 10.30am when the guest speaker will be Rowena Harker Leder.
