A TOTAL of £625 was raised for cancer research at the annual R & C Scott perpetual darts match held at the Langdon Beck Hotel, Upper Teesdale, at the weekend. Winner of the £200 first prize was Malcom Dent, from Eggleston. Landlady Sue Matthews said: "A big thank-you goes out to all who took part and supported the event. It was an excellent effort."
