Midnight charity walk to raise funds for St Teresa's Hospice

WOMEN are being urged to take part in a midnight walk to raise funds for a Darlington hospice.

Entries are now open for the sixth annual St Teresa's Hospice Midnight Walk in South Park, in Darlington, on Friday, May 17.

The girl-power fundraiser will see hundreds women take part in the 1.5 mile walk at the stroke of midnight to raise money for the hospice, and organisers hope it will be the biggest event yet.

Hospice director Jane Bradshaw said: “People take part in the midnight walk for a lot of different reasons, but they all share the desire to support a great cause and have a really special girls’ night out.

“It’s really good fun being part of this group of wonderful women, chattering and laughing their way around the course, and catching up on the news.”

For a registration form visit darlingtonhospice.org.uk or collect one from the hospice or its shops.
