Vehicles stolen from Northern Echo depot

THIEVES stole two cars from The Northern Echo’s depot last night (Wednesday February 27).
The company cars – a black Vauxhall Astra and a silver Ford Fiesta – were taken from the depot on Brunswick Street, Darlington at some point between 9pm and 11pm. It is believed the thieves used keys to gain access to the property.
Darlington Police’s Inspector Suky Sahani confirmed that the force are investigating the incident and urged any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward by contacting them on non-emergency number 101 or via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
